To coincide with this, we are pleased to formally announce FIRST BLOOD! Our first 1 day event for 2016.
Supported by long standing gaming club OUTPOST 6030 and being run out of their awesome venue in South Perth on Sunday 31st January 2016, First Blood is a fun way to kick of the Western Australian Tournament season!
Alongside FIRST BLOOD, we are proud to support a local gamer in her own event – WINTER SOLDIERS
This is a Western Australian painting competition with a twist – all funds from entry will go towards Homeward Bound. Ghislaine Platell is an enthusiastic gamer and a PhD student at the Centre for Integrative Bee Research (CIBER) based at the University of Western Australia. She was fortunate to be selected for the Homeward Bound project as one of only 78 women who will be part of an expedition to the Antarctic in December 2016. You can donate to her cause in the link earlier in this post or come down and enter a model (or 2!) into the competition and support her while maybe winning a prize or 2.

Its great to see a gamer being selected for such a fantastic opportunity so support her if you can! I will admit to being very jealous of her as I think this trip is bound to be a once in a lifetime opportunity to see one of the most unique places on earth. She better get some shots of a model or 2 in the snow at the south pole for me though!
