Putting my theory to practice… 1850 Harlequins list for an event tomorrow!

So in the spotlight series over the last couple of posts I have been talking Harlequins… well – time to put my money where my mouth is! Here is the list I am running in a 4 game event tomorrow!

Fortification – Imperial Bunker (55), Escape Hatch (25)

 TOTAL – 1849

So – its not completely harlequins but its what I can muster right now and I still have to paint a dozen models in the next 12 hours!

The Spirit Seer joins the Shadow Seers and the large Troupe to form a mini death star – I am thinking I will roll runes of battle for the spirit seer then each Shadow Seer will roll on a different table – Phantasmancy, Telepathy and then probably Sanctic. This combo should make the unit remarkably durable and dangerous if it works!

The Death Jesters join the Dark Reapers on the bunkers battlements for extra firepower or can run solo and be annoying if I like.

The 2 small troupes embark the star weavers for a tag team assault force. The wind riders can bum rush objectives or throw themselves into combat before the small troupes to soak over watch. The Wraithguard will man the bunker in most cases, using the escape hatch to surprise enemies who close with their wraith cannons.

The Solitaire will do his Predator impression by hunting small elite units if possible – the Rising crescendo rule is awesome for him!

How will it go? Who Knows! To be honest I have fairly low expectations for the list given I have cobbled it together in the last 48 hours and I know I will have to deal with Ravenwing with an Acheron Knight, Screamer stars, skyhammers and the like but you never know I guess…

Wish me luck! I will report back with the tales of lament and photos in the next post!
