Todays post is a brief one but its interactive at least! I am keen for you, the reader, to take part in the second Objective Secured 40k Survey about TRAVEL!
The reason for this survey is in part due to where I live – Perth, Western Australia. Perth is the world’s most isolated continental capital city – we are closer to Jakarta (the capital of Indonesia some 3007km away) than to our own capital city of Canberra (about 3905km by road) while Sydney is a staggering 4400km away!
This means we have to travel for events – a lot! Even within Perth, the last event I played at was over an hours drive away!
So it got me thinking – as an event organiser, a player and a responsible adult – how much are you willing to do to play with your armies for 40k?
I am keen to hear from everyone who reads this since people from different parts of the world will have very different views on travel, let alone travelling to play with our toy soldiers!
So whether you just jump in the car to drive 5 mins to your friendly local gaming store to play or the idea of a road trip has already got you inspired to grab some friends and head out to find new opponents for your all conquering forces of destruction – we want to hear what you think!
