Episode 36: Cancon KrisKros
We are back with the Cancon wrap up from the biggest ITC event in Australia to date – speaking again to one half of the 40k Organisers Chris – aka Uni Cage. Cancon saw 140 40k players battle it out for the title of Champion as well as a second hotly contested award of Australian ITC champion – whose prize would be a trip to the Las Vegas Open 2020! Congratulations again to Erik (from Godhammer Gaming) for his 8 win streak and taking the event title and to Matt (from Adeptus Victorium) for taking the 2018 ITC Australian Champions crown – in a nail biting finish I might add!
We chat to Chris about the life of a Tournament Organiser – whats its like to use 3 different types of scoring system for the same event, feedback good, bad and crazy from players, yellow cards, drop outs and more. It’s a long interview and while the audio isn’t perfect, it’s a great chat.
We also talk about the upcoming release of the black legion, the codex Genestealer Cult FAQ, hidden hobby communities and connections we never knew we had (thanks Tokyo Motorsports!)
