In case you have been living under a rock in the 40k community of late you will know we have seen the release for the newly updated Adeptus Custodes for 9th edition. This comes alongside the release of the Genestealer cults codex (released same day).
In the past I would usually write a 2000+ word article breaking it all down and giving some first impressions but decided I might try something a little different for this one. Instead I recorded a 2 hour (ish) 4 part series of videos and uploaded them to YouTube!
I’m not totally convinced on the format so I have held off on completing the genestealer cult video as there is a lot to cover. I would love to hear what you thought of this series and if you would like to see more of these as new codex are released.

That’s not to say there isn’t plenty to talk about for the Adeptus Custodes release, far from it! With some more time under my belt and some avid fans of the emperors own golden warriors have seen some great combos and ideas flow from a seemingly innocuous release – especially when it comes to the all new Blade Champion and just how dangerous he can be.
