So as a tally for you – that’s 9 D cannons (9 small blast D templates at 24″) and 30 windrider jetbikes with 30 scatter lasers! This easily will engage light and medium armour at decent range while anything silly enough to get close faces the horrifying prospect of the Dcannon wall behind an aegis – buffed further by conceal on the warlock with each battery. The swooping hawks provide options for engaging flyers or very heavy armour as well as deep strike large blasts vs infantry blobs. The farseer can move rapidly to support as needed though guide/doom/whatever.
Like all spam lists, it takes the best units available and, well, spams them!
Despite first impressions, This list will struggle against high AV targets in the early game as the scatter bikes can only engage up to AV12 and the limited range on the D cannons means you can keep them out of range. Knights in particular could be difficult for it to deal with if objectives are loaded on a section of the board where the D cannons can not reach while the bikes need to close.
Ultimately, this list will win and die by the windriders – if you can kill them or contain them then the list will fold. If not? well spam can be tasty afterall!
