Episode 27: Keeping it Clear
The 4th annual Western Australian Warhammer 40,000 Masters event that Objective Secured has hosted is now just weeks away and when would it be a better time than now to talk about playing the cleanest game you can? By clean game we don’t mean taking a shower prior either or washing your models before painting!
We do a brief wrap up of the last couple of weeks, with events both past and future on our radar – local and abroad – before we get stuck into the topic at hand… how to play a clean and clear game and some of the things you should consider to remove the hurdles that can come up in competitive play, regardless of game system!
My new Drukhari force is also just about all assembled… talk about trials! 18 reavers, 20 hellions, 30 wyches, 2 forgeworld Reapers, 2 venoms, 2 void raven bombers, 3 succubus, a beast master and 12 razorwing flocks is a surprising amount of models, especially when you think about crew for the vehicles and the riders for the bikes and sky boards! Never the less, I can almost show off the assembly… almost!
Do you follow any of our suggestions for clean play already? Have you seen poor behaviour in this area at events? If it was across the table from you – how did you deal with it? Do you have any other ways of being as transparent as possible for your opponents? We are always keen to find new ways to help gamers so why not give us your thoughts – we want to hear from you!
