Episode 28: Conquering Cancon
Australia’s grand finale as far as ITC goes is now just a couple of months away so we thought it would be a great opportunity to chat with one half of the 40k Tournament Organisers for Cancon 40k 2018 & 2019 – Chris “Uni Kage” Moore.
We talk about some of the long history of Cancon – and since recording we have confirmed the convention itself has gone for the last 40 (!!!) years and talk about the Independent Tournament Circuit (ITC for short) and how that fits in to the Cancon event roster.
We talk life of the TO as well – comparing notes on some of the experiences Uni had as a TO last year and some of the changes he and the team are making for 2019. I almost got the green light for attending next year for the price of a diamond ring but sadly – that bargain got lost in the audio corruption thanks to skype and discord… sadly!
