Episode 38: Biodiversity – Codex Genestealer Cults
In what is our longest episode to date – over 2 hours of us two! – Mike and Emma continue on from episode 35 and take a long look at the Genestealer Cult for 8th edition Warhammer 40,000. Despite the length of the episode we still don’t quite cover everything! There is just so much to talk about!
We delve into the codex and check out the unit entries, looking at some of the awesome combos found in the box, with relics, warlord traits, psychic powers and stratagems being rolled into entries when something just needed to be highlighted. We discuss the cult creeds, look at ways to get the army on the table in a more wallet friendly manner and chat a little about being speedy with the game while playing this horde of miniatures.
We also cover what you can expect from the next episode – with Mike taking the codex to an upcoming event here in Perth. Be sure to check out the next episode with a before and after from the event to see just how well (or poorly!) he did!
