Episode 43: Its SHO Time!
The third annual Southern Hemisphere Open has come and gone and its time to talk about the event, what went on and where we might take things going forward. While we intended to have the whole episode recorded on site, it was an ambitious plan which didn’t really work. Despite this we have cut up the audio we got on the weekend and then recorded a debrief of sorts to share with you all!
With a con in full swing, the 4 interviews we managed to get are not perfect audio wise and the interference on the day hasn’t helped either but Mike did his best to clean it up and make it as clear as possible.
We talk about some of the trials and tribulations of the event, its planning and then of course the 5 days of madness – Bump in, 3 days of con and then Bump out. You likely saw us regularly via the facebook live streams over the weekend and we only get more bedraggled as the days go on! The conversation moves about a bit because we are still so tired but we drop a few hints for new events, things we hope to achieve for SHO2020 and more.
Did you attend SHO 2019? What did you think of the new venue and time of year? What could we add or do at the event to make it even better for you? We would love to hear about your experiences – we want to hear from you!
