Episode 56: Winning – (Masters)
Masters 2019 has come and gone and like every year it’s not been without its challenges. This episode sees us chat to 2 of the winners from Masters 2019 – Andrew Hortin, Overall Winner and Jordan Berresford, Undefeated Generalship Winner. Winning either category in a 60 player event is a task in itself so it’s great to be able to share the experiences both players have on playing at the event for 2019!
In the lead up, Mike also managed to make things that little more challenging with a bad fall and injury which meant we had to ask for help from the community. We are grateful that we have an amazing community who offered to help pick up the load and while its impossible to name them all here, know that those that helped on the Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday of the event weekend are more than appreciated by Emma and Mike.
We also gave away the first WA faction awards this year with players who spent the year playing specific factions being rewarded with their own recognition during the masters awards. You can check out the full event results here. You can watch the videos from masters here.
