Episode 76: Putting a Team Together
When you put a team together – there is just so much to consider! Who is bringing the snacks and drinks? Who is organising the shirts? Who is making sure everyone is wearing their shirts? Armies? Yeah, we better organise that as well!
In this episode we talk WATC 2020 and what you might need to think about when putting your team and its armies together. We check out the match up process (found HERE), the idea of a traffic light pairing sheet (found HERE and HERE) and then some tactics around list selection.
We also take a couple of guesses in regards to the team composition for 2020 because why not! And explain just how your team wins the round, scores the round bonus point and more. It’s a topic that may or may not have covered what was suggested to us – Thanks to Vince for the suggestion! There is also so much to cover in releases from Games Workshop (HERE) and the awesome Australian made Bot Wars – check them out HERE.
While Western Australia seems to be on the mend, we want to make sure you are all looking after yourselves during this trying quarantine period – if you need help from more than your present support network (and are in Western Australia) you can contact Beyond Blue (1300 22 46 36), Life line (131 114) or Crisis Care (089223 1111). If you are outside of Western Australia we really encourage you checking out your local provider of mental health via your preferred search engine.
Are you getting ready to hit the tables for WATC 2020? A veteran of the last 4 years or new blood joining the pool? We would love to hear about your experiences and hear your feedback on this – we want to hear from you!
