Episode 35: Ascension
The day of ascension is at hand! Rise my brothers and sisters, worshippers of the four armed emperor! The cosmic reckoning for our captors is at hand! … ahem… Our genes might be showing is this episode! This episode is all about being sneaky, conniving, cunning rebels within the corrupt heart of the Imperium of Man as we take a first look at some of the awesome new rules the Codex Genestealer Cult has given us. Truth be told this episode is a little impromptu as Mike just got so excited about this book we had to interrupt our episode plans to share the four armed emperors wisdom!
We chat all things Las Vegas Open 2019 (AKA LVO2019) and the previews we saw just prior to the biggest Warhammer 40,000 tournament ever run in the world! 650+ players started 40k LVO Champs and we have to congratulate Brandon Grant (along with his Catachan Jungle Fighters and Castellan assistant) for the amazing game 9 win over Alex Harrison and his Aeldari airforce.
We got sneak peaks for new releases for Age of Sigmar, Warhammer: Underworlds and of course Warhammer 40,000 – with the community team again showing they have a sense of humour in showing off the latest Primaris Lieutenant coming soon. We also have the honour of accepting the first Warhammer Heroes awards for Australia – and what might even be the first couple as well.
