Just over 24 hours from now I will be kicking off my second run at the ATC 40k as the WA captain. Its quite a daunting task – though I admit I love the extra challenges that it presents.
I have spent the last couple of days madly painting models for my army as well as our daemon player for summoning, printing many a sheet out for reference, cutting foam for the carry cases, chasing up my team mates for last minute bits and bobs we had forgotten.
Is it worth it?

Win or lose this year is not as important as the being there itself. The casual banter between captains has been going for some time now via face book but in the last couple of days, the banter has almost hit fever pitch behind closed doors and despite the challenges I know each captain has faced, this weekend will all be worth it.
