Eaters of Worlds – New World Eaters kits are here!

We have to thank Games Workshop for supplying these amazing kits early for us to review – be sure to check out Episode 106 of the podcast for our full review of the kits and rules!
Lets kick off this parade of World Eaters with the man himself…

Angron!

Here we have the big red machine in all his glory, painted up by Tuxedo Miniatures for us! only 2 sprues was a shock for sure!

Berzerkers!

These are an amazing kit and also not so large as to dwarf the older kit – which was a shock all of its own!

Eightbound!

These guard are big! Like really big! I have to try arm swaps with the next box as i think they will work on each body but the armour will be key as it again seems to be lined up for arms rather than the torso.

Jakhals!

Annoying to build but super detailed – I’m really torn about the over sized weapons personally. Lots of issues with the size and weight of those weapons with small connection points so patience will be key!

Lord Invocatus!

Love the dual build kit and best of all there should be plenty of ways to make both characters from this kit with some planning. Only the torso from the juggernaut is used in both kits – even the riders are completely separate!

Special mention has to go out to the new transfer sheet you get in most of the kits!

World Eaters

And then, just for kicks, I decided to kit bash some eightbound using spares from that kit plus some berserker heads onto the existing possessed kit…

Lots of work but I think they work really well! Most of the cutting is hidden behind armour or shoulder pads and the butchers nails heads from the berserker kit really sell the link to the exalted eightbound and make them World Eaters rather than just khorne possessed.

Lots more to show off as we paint them up but for now, enjoy the photos and listen in to episode 106 for the full review!
