Episode 12: Any Given Sunday
On any given sunday… or rather…In this episode, Mike and Emma grab their football pads and join a team! Actually scratch that – they grab their dice bag and carry cases and join a 40k team for an hours discussion on some of the awesome team events from around the world!
We cover the basic formats from some of the most well know team events Internationally, Australian and locally. From the sweltering heat of the ETC in Poland (in a giant plastic blue tent!) in 2012, to the shed in Sydney for the ANZTC in 2016, to the air conditioned (mostly) hall in South Perth for the WATC – every team event offers something to every player!
We check out the differences in the formats from these 3 awesome events, how you can go about preparing for them as well as checking out some of the more complex parts of the events like how match ups are done and how you actually put a team together.
