Episode 52: Its only a game

Its only a game

Episode 52 sees us take a breath and remember – Its only a game. We decided we should take a look at sportsmanship and cheating and how to handle it as a player at an event. This all comes from the Vanguard Tactics video on youtube, which we hope to have the host Stephen on this channel to chat with us about this video and his experiences at the London GT for 2019. You should definitely check out Vanguard Tactics if you haven’t already!

We chat about some of the up coming releases as well as a couple of new models Mike has ordered from a Russian company for a franchise that’s near and dear to him – Legacy of Kain!

We also have to make special mention of the 1Up Gaming Marathon happening for 24 hours on the 26th and 27th of October 2019 at Good Games Rockingham in conjunction with Rockingham Historical Gamers. This year they are gaming for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of WA, Multiple Sclerosis Corporation and the SANE Australia. They will be playing all sorts of games over the 24 hour period – tabletop, card, pc, mobile and many more! Be sure to check it out if you have time over the Saturday – you can even use it to practice for the next obsec event the following day! You can donate to the event HERE.

Just a quick one – what do people think of the crest on my Asurmen conversion? Leave as is or make it a proper hair crest? Listen to the end of episode to get the context!

Have you ever had a game go sideways on you and needed to get a judges help? How did you handle the situation? How can these issues be dealt with better and what wouldyou like to see used? We would love to hear about your experiences and hear your feedback on this topic – we want to hear from you!
