Episode 66: A Matter of Scale

Episode 66: A Matter of Scale

Scale

The scale of a miniature range is something of an enigma to a large section of the community – us included. While doing some research on the topic we found the most excellent article describing exactly how and why models scales work, which we decided was to good to not share with you all!

You can read the full article HERE – shout out to the author(s) at Alkony for compiling all this information and making it understandable for us. A great read.

Be sure to check out the made to order models Games Workshop previewed recently HERE – the hunchback Librarian and the most awesome Sister of Battle!

Congratulations to the team at Goonhammer for getting their article published on the Games Workshop website! Check it out HERE.

God I love this mini – its a done deal when it is released!

You can check out the full Warhammer Preview (revenge of the preview) HERE – Warcry is the clear winner for me here with the Necrons getting a close second place and the inquisition rounding out the podium.

We want to make sure you are all looking after yourselves during this trying time – if you need help from more than your present support network (and are in Western Australia) you can contact Beyond Blue (1300 22 46 36), Life line (131 114) or Crisis Care (089223 1111). If you are outside of Western Australia we really encourage you checking out your local provider of mental health via your preferred search engine.

Did you understand the scale of miniatures in wargames before now? Does it matter to you at all? Would you rather see your favourite range change the way it handles its scale or are you happy as is? We would love to hear about your experiences and hear your feedback on this topic – we want to hear from you!

Enough reading – go listen! Scroll to the bottom to stream it now or grab it from iTunes – Be sure to leave us a review on iTunes if you grab it there.
