Episode 73: Indomitus Part 2

Episode 73: Indomitus Part 2

Its finally here – Indomitus, and thus Warhammer 40,000 9th edition – is here! The day of pre-order has come and gone… with a sell out worldwide no less! While we did join the mad rush to secure a copy (or 2) of this amazing box set, we also got very fortunate with Games Workshop sending us a copy to use for review a week or so prior to pre-order… and what a box it is!

This episode is a ramble through some of the many, many changes that Indomitus and 9th edition has brought to the table. The claims of it being an 8.5 are hugely exaggerated. While it might feel familiar, under the hood it’s a whole different beast.

We chat about some of the biggest changes like terrain and missions to name but two and then jump into a few of the more subtle changes as well. It was a 6 hour session for our live Deep Dive Day so this chat is just the tip of the iceberg.

We also delve into some of the forth coming releases like the 40k App and take a look at the up-coming new starter sets for 9th edition. You should also check out Custom Gaming Tables if you live in WA – we can’t wait to have our table delivered! Expect more photos soon!
