Episode 72: Indomitus Part 1
Its finally here – Indomitus is almost upon us! The day of pre-order has come and gone… with a sell out worldwide no less! While we did join the mad rush to secure a copy (or 2) of this amazing box set, we also got very fortunate with Games Workshop sending us a copy to use for review a week or so prior to pre-order… and what a box it is!
This episode is all about the box and the models within. We can’t stress enough how good the value is! 61 models, the full hard back rule book and new data sheets for all those glorious models for under $300au makes this perhaps the single best value box set ever released.
We explain the break up in the sprues, speculate what might be removed when the new editions stater set finally hits shelves, give some tips and tricks on the assembly as well as our thoughts on value. It’s a pretty easy sell to be honest!
We also delve into some of the forth coming releases like the 40k App and take a look at the pre-order bonus goodies we (hopefully!) will get when we race in to collect our pre-order just prior to hosting a 6 hour session with a focus on learning 9th ed!
