Episode 81: Forged in Fire

Episode 81: Forged in Fire – Forge World Imperial Armour Compendium

The new Forgeworld Imperial Armour Compendium is with us and what a hefty tome it is! We take nearly 2 hours for this episodes topic to just skim the surface of the Forgeworld data sheets and share some thoughts on the changes as they stand.

Forgeworld

We take a look at the Forgeworld Legends document as well – with over 140 pages of models now relegated to the mists of history… at least for organised play! Yes some are sad to see go the way of the dinosaur for the format but its not the end of the world.

We take a quick look at some of the news since the last pod cast including some new info on the Blood Bowl second edition and the teams past and present, an awesome series of painting guides for your Daughters of Khaine in preparation for what happens in Broken Realms Morathi as well as the new chapter of space marines from white dwarf – the Tome Keepers… especially apt for this episode!

While Western Australia is all but returned to normal, we want to make sure you are all looking after yourselves during this trying quarantine period – if you need help from more than your present support network (and are in Western Australia) you can contact Beyond Blue (1300 22 46 36), Life line (131 114) or Crisis Care (089223 1111). If you are outside of Western Australia we really encourage you checking out your local provider of mental health via your preferred search engine.

What did you think about the new forgeworld book and the data sheets within? Who were your winners and losers? Which models do you lament for in the changes?  We would love to hear about your experiences and hear your feedback on this – we want to hear from you!
