Episode 82: Under Pressure

Episode 82: Under Pressure

Applying pressure to the table is a tricky concept to explain – but so what! We are going to give it a go regardless! Analogies, bad line drawings and personal anecdotes are the order of the day as  Emma tries to get Mike to explain what he means by “applying pressure” to the table – using more or different words!

Pressure

We look at the types of pressure that can be applied on the table, other ways of explaining what those are and more. I will admit that if you are reading this I am writing pressure more than once or twice just to wind up Emma that little bit more!

We take a quick look at some of the news since the last pod cast including some new info on the future of Warhammer Underworlds, the Christmas Advent Rumour Calendar and the new Deathguard coin and model available from the 5th of December. We also have a quick chat about Beyond Games and Hobby next 40k event – check it out!

While Western Australia is all but returned to normal, we want to make sure you are all looking after yourselves during this trying quarantine period – if you need help from more than your present support network (and are in Western Australia) you can contact Beyond Blue (1300 22 46 36), Life line (131 114) or Crisis Care (089223 1111). If you are outside of Western Australia we really encourage you checking out your local provider of mental health via your preferred search engine.

So, did anything we said make sense to you? Does applying pressure translate into how you make choices on the table? Do you think 3 turns ahead and know what sort of pressure you like to apply? Team Mike or Emma for the Apocalypse? We would love to hear about your experiences and hear your feedback on this – we want to hear from you!
